St George’s House is a holiday home located in an idyllic setting in Harrogate, predominantly for all our Beneficiaries.
It is hoped the holiday home will prove a useful place for families to come together and escape from the pressures at home, spending some much needed quality time together.
A one week’s FREE respite stay at our holiday home is available to all current Beneficiaries (those families currently receiving financial support from the Charity) and can be taken anytime (subject to availability) on an annual basis. The holiday home usually closes over the Christmas period for a 2-week break.

Our stays at St George’s give us some time to spend together as a family away from all the hassle and stresses of everyday life. As the 4 year anniversary approaches of Lyntons' death, we have the opportunity to focus on what and who is important to us and enjoy the peacefulness of such a wonderful house and area (Current Beneficiary)
All bookings are taken on a first come first served basis and Beneficiaries will be given priority on bookings when the next year’s dates are released. After an agreed time period (usually 3 months later), lettings are then opened up and become available to the wider Police family to make a booking at a discounted rate.
Bookings are available for either:
One week (Monday-Sunday) or Weekend (Friday – Sunday) – school term-time only.
The holiday home is available to all current Beneficiaries (families currently receiving financial support from the Charity) for one week’s free respite stay.
Thank you for our stay in the cottage. It was a very safe, clean and spacious cottage with everything you could need. The park is very close with an amazing play area and paddling pool. Shopping and entertainment are fab too. (Current Beneficiary)
The holiday home is also available to the wider Police family (who do not have to be donating to the Trust) for a discounted rate.
